Skip The Dyed Eggs and Try these cute ideas instead!

I don't think my kids would ever touch a vegetable if I didn't incorporate fun ways to consume them.
I came up with this idea the make suprise snacks. The rules are simple. When you pick a container and open it you have to eat what's inside before you can open another one. One container contains a treat. This makes it more exciting.

Are you bored of making your kids lunchboxs for school?
Well then, you're in good company! That's why I take full advantage of upcoming holidays to have a little fun with making lunchs.
This is a pic of Sapphire's April Fool's lunchbox.
I knew she wouldn't be impressed with baby food for lunch so I made her an Easter theme lunchbox as a backup

Today we made this as a way to countdown the days until Easter!

Welcome Spring

Today I made these treats with Sapphire and Opal for the many birds that frequent our yard. I found this recipe on familyfun.com. Bird Seed biscuits. Extremly simple and inexpensive.

I doubled this recipe 3/4c bird seed
1 tbsp flour
2 tbsp water
Mix, and press into cupcake tin that has been sprayed with oil. Place a popcicle stick or straw in the top of the biscuit to create a hole for string. Bake at 170 degrees for 1 hour Hang with ribbon or string
