These images bring me back to a time of innocence, complete joy for life and a love for all my treasured possessions .
After reflecting on these memories I have decided to start keeping some of my own children's favorite toys in a time capsule for when they are older. I hope this post put a smile on your face and made you feel like a silly little kid again!

Thanks for this blast from the past! I had forgotten about a few of these gems from our childhood, and I was hit with a wave of nostalgia...the charm bracelet and jelly shoes in particular brought back some memories. We were never allowed to have any of those cereals in our house though!
My grandparents always had "special" cereal for us when we went to their house. I'm pretty sure my parents bought sugar cereal on a regular basis. I typically buy my kids fairly healthy cereal but every now and then I'll splurge and feed them Alphabet cereal or fruit loops. I love a good bowl of sugary cereal just as much as they do.
Wow flash back..........I still have a lot of these things around:
Barbie from Barbie & the rockers with the original music tape
care bears
popples
Original atari and nintendo
Jelly bracelets
Skip-it (and no, i can't do it anymore!)
Strawberry shortcake
Apple Jacks was my fave cereal(don't tell my kids)
and I had banana clips and jelly shoes in every colour
Thanks for the flashback!
That's awesome that you still have tangible evidence of your childhood. I have to relive my childhood through google images! lol!
It's amazing how much we remember from our childhood. It makes me think about what my own kids will treasure when they are my age!
Crystal still likes to eat all the choco puffs!
